October 23rd, 2014: The Hungarian Embassy in Ottawa gave a reception at which Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade was the special guest.

October 23, 2014, the Hungarian Embassy in Ottawa gave a reception at which Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade was the special guest. The 1956 revolution was commemorated and the 50 years of official diplomatic relations between Hungary and Canada. The Hungarian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Director Dr. Anthony Horvath and the General Secretary Attila Molnar participated. It was agreed that in the future there will be much closer cooperation between the Hungarian government and the Chamber to improve commercial relations between the two countries.
